Getting Personal - 16 October 2010

One Day event at University of Cumbria - 16 October 2010

WHEN NOTHING can any longer be done for the first time, how do we do things differently? Working among the surfeit of images, which so characterizes our contemporary world, a photographer’s greatest challenge is to distinguish their personal work from the thousands of competing images on every hand.

During the day Martin Parr and John Darwell talked about their own work and discussed issues related to contemporary photographic practice.
